Working with us

What does MKLB Partners do?

We're a Houston video production and content studio. We make social content, commercials, brand films, training videos, photography and branding, and we can run your social media month to month.

How much does it cost?

Every project is quoted to fit. Monthly retainers, single productions and hybrids are all priced around your goals and scope, so there are no fixed packages. Tell us what you have in mind, and we'll shape the right proposal.

What's the difference between a retainer and a one-off project?

A retainer is an ongoing monthly partnership: we plan, shoot, edit and (if you like) post content every month. A one-off project is a single production, like a commercial, brand film or event recap. Retainers are our lead offer because consistency is what grows an audience.

How long is a retainer?

We ask for an initial three-month commitment. Social growth comes from consistency, and three months gives us the time to learn your audience, test formats and double down on what works, so the results are more consistent.

Can you be our whole marketing team?

Yes. On a content retainer we can plan, shoot, edit, post and report every month. If you already have a marketing team, we can plug in as your production crew instead, or do a bit of both.

We already have a marketing team. Can you just shoot and edit?

Yes. Many clients use us as their dedicated production crew: your team owns the strategy and the posting, and we bring the cameras, the crew and the edit.

How do we get started?

Send us a note through the Work With Us page. We'll set up a discovery call to learn your business and goals, then come back with a plan and proposal. From there it's plan, shoot, deliver.

What do you need from us?

Timely information, materials and approvals; access to your location and the people we're filming; and, for social media management, access to the accounts we'll run. Quick feedback keeps projects on schedule.

What terms apply to our project?

Our standard Terms of Service go out with every invoice and cover ownership, licensing, payment, revisions and more. If you need something different, ask: we can provide a version tailored to your project.

How does payment work?

Invoices are due on receipt, and should be settled within 7 days of the invoice date. We accept bank transfer, cash, check, credit and debit cards (card payments carry a 4% fee). The full details are in our Terms of Service.

Content & social

What's included in a monthly content retainer?

Monthly short-form content for Reels, TikTok and Shorts; content strategy and calendars; trend-driven and viral-format content; social media management; and performance reporting. Every retainer is shaped around your goals.

Which platforms do you create for?

Instagram, TikTok and YouTube Shorts for social. We also cut content for your website, paid social ads, email and, with the right agreement, TV and broadcast.

Do you post for us, or just deliver the content?

Either. We can hand over finished content for your team to publish, or manage your posting as part of a retainer.

Can you guarantee a video will go viral?

No one honestly can. What we can promise is content built the way things spread: strong hooks, trend-aware formats and a steady rhythm. That's what gives every post its best shot. Our case studies show what that has done for clients.

How do you measure results?

On retainers we track the numbers that matter for your goals, such as views, reach, engagement and follower growth, and use them to decide what to make next.

Production

What kinds of video do you produce?

Social content, commercials and paid-social ads, brand films, documentaries, training and onboarding videos, event coverage, product videos, and real estate and property films.

Do you do aerial and drone footage?

Yes. Aerial and drone footage is part of our production work, from property and site overviews to sweeping establishing shots for brand films.

How long does a project take?

Edits are typically delivered 1–2 weeks after filming. Need it faster? We offer rush delivery in 24–48 hours, which is great for events, launches and anything timely. We'll confirm the timeline together before the shoot.

Where do you shoot?

We're based in Houston and shoot on location: your restaurant, office, showroom, job site, or wherever the story is. We also travel for projects outside Houston, so tell us where yours is.

Can you edit footage we already shot?

Yes. Post-production is available à la carte: editing, color grading and sound design.

Do you do photography too?

Yes: food and beverage, venues, interiors and architecture, products, events, and team headshots.

Do you handle branding and motion graphics?

Yes. We offer brand identity, strategy and messaging, and motion graphics and animated brand assets.

Ownership & usage

Who owns the footage?

Under our standard terms, MKLB keeps ownership of the raw files and final edits, and you get a license to use the content. Custom arrangements can be agreed in writing.

Where can we use the content?

Social media and online promotion, digital advertising (like Google, Facebook and Instagram ads), email marketing, and your website. TV or broadcast use needs our written authorization. Just ask.

Can we edit or re-cut the videos ourselves?

Not without our written consent. The content is licensed in its edited form. Need a different length or format? Ask us, and we'll make the cut-down.

How many revisions do we get?

One round of revisions on final edits is included. Further rounds can be arranged, and we'll always tell you about any extra cost in advance. Requests just need to be in writing (email or text is fine).

How long do we have to review and approve?

7 days from delivery. If you need more time, just ask in writing within that window.

Do you keep our raw footage after delivery?

Once content is delivered, you're responsible for storing it, so download and back up everything you receive. We don't guarantee long-term archiving.

Will our project appear in your portfolio?

We may feature finished work in our portfolio and marketing, unless we've agreed otherwise in writing. If your project needs to stay private, tell us up front.

Industries

Do you only work with restaurants and bars?

No. Hospitality is where we built our name, but we make video for real estate, construction, law firms and professional services, corporate teams, product brands, events and more.

Do you make training and internal videos?

Yes: training and onboarding series, safety and compliance videos, leadership messages, process walkthroughs and recruiting films.

Do you work with law firms and professional services?

Yes: attorney and team introductions, practice-area explainers, FAQ series for social, client story films, recruiting videos and headshots.

Do you work with real estate and construction?

Yes. For real estate: listing films, vertical social tours, aerials and development launches. For construction: project progress and time-lapse, showcase films, safety videos and crew recruiting.

My industry isn't listed. Can you still help?

Almost certainly. If it can be filmed, we can make it work. Tell us what you're trying to do, and we'll tell you how video can help.

Careers

Are you hiring?

We're always meeting talent: videographers, editors, photographers, motion designers, social media managers and producers. We don't post listings; introduce yourself and we'll reach out when the right project lands.

Let's make something worth watching.
